15th Ave Street Sweep

Capitol Hill Chamber of Commerce will be holding a Street Sweep Event on Saturday May 10, 2008 along the 15th Avenue business district. Event hub and festivities will be at the Group Health Courtyard at 15th Avenue East and East John.

Broadway Farmers Market May 11 - November 18, 2008

The Broadway Sunday Farmers Market is open 11 am to 3 pm every Sunday From May 11 through Nov. 18, in the lot behind the Bank of America on the East side of Broadway, at East Thomas Street. The main entrances to the market are on 10th Ave just east of Broadway, and there are entrances at Thomas Street and on Broadway. There is free parking in the lot right next to the market. The market is operated by the Neighborhood Farmers Market Alliance, a local non-profit (501 c 3) organization dedicated to supporting and strengthening Washington's small family farmers. Families and Dogs Against Fighting Breeds Plans All City Meetings

An open meeting of Families and Dogs Against Fighting Breeds (FDAFB) will take place on February 12, 2008, at the meeting room of the Uptown Cafe, 2504-4th Ave, Seattle, Belltown. 6:45-8 pm. Goals will be to finalize legislation for a Citizen's Initiative in the city of Seattle to muzzle fighting breeds of dogs
